　　连系动词

　　概念

　　系动词亦称连系动词，它本身有词义，但不能独自作谓语，后边有必要跟表语，构成系表就够来阐明主语的情况、性质、特征等情况。有些系动词又是实义动词，作实义动词时，可独自作谓语。

　　He fell ill yesterday. 他昨日病了。(fell是系动词，后跟表语，阐明主语情况。)

　　He fell off the ladder. 他从梯子上摔了下来。(fell是实义动词，独自作谓语。)

　　分类

　　① 情况系动词

　　用来表明主语情况，只要be一词。

　　He is a teacher. 他是一名教师。(is与表语一同阐明主语的身份)

　　② 持续系动词

　　用来表明主语持续或坚持一种情况或情绪，主要有keep, remain, stay, lie, stand等。

　　He never stays angry for long. 他气愤时刻从来不会长。

　　③ 感官系动词

　　感官系动词主要有look, feel, smell, sound, taste. 如：

　　This kind of cloth feels very soft. 这种布摸起来十分软。

　　This flower smells very sweet. 这朵花闻起来很香。

　　He looks tired. 他看起来很累。

　　这几个系动词的意思分别是“摸起来”，“看起来”，“闻起来”，“听起来”和“尝起来”，使用时留意以下几点：

　　a.通常以被感觉的东西作主语，虽有被迫意味，但不必被迫语态。

　　The material feels nice. 这料子摸起来不错。

　　b.后边均可结介词like.

　　This looks/tastes/smells/feels like an orange. 这东西看起来/尝起来/闻起来/摸起来像橘子。

　　别的，taste和smell后还能够接介词of,表明“有......的滋味”。

　　It tastes (smells) of fish.它有鱼的滋味。

　　c.除look外，均不必于进行时(即使是look用于进行时也不多见)。

　　You look (are looking) tired this evening. 你今晚看起来很累。

　　④ 变化系动词

　　这些系动词表明主语变成什么样，主要有become, grow, turn, fall, get, go等。如：

　　He became mad after that. 自那之后，他疯了。

　　She grew rich within a short time.没多长时刻她就变富了。
